We think LifeRing is the right path to recovery for us.  Maybe it’s not for everybody.  And it’s not exclusive of other organizations.  Some LifeRing members participate in multiple recovery organizations.  Recovery organization options include:

Colorado AA – 12 step

Colorado Narcotics Anonymous – 12 step

CU Collegiate Recovery Center –  support for those in recovery from substance use disorders or addictive behaviors and a home for the sober community on the CU-Boulder campus

Gay & Sober – “to provide a safe, fun, and enriching experience to the sober community”

Mike Altschuler Foundation – information clearinghouse for treatment options including assessment, detox and rehab

Moderation Management – “address the needs of beginning stage problem drinkers”, not a recovery organization per se.

Phoenix Multisport – “fosters a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from a substance use disorder and those who choose to live sober”.  Chapters in Denver, Boulder & Colorado Springs.

Rational Recovery – recovery through the “Addictive Voice Recognition Technique® (AVRT®) ”

SMART Recovery  – “self-empowering addiction recovery support group”

Women for Sobriety – “dedicated to helping women overcome alcoholism and other addictions”
